Interested in trading your time for a festival experience you’ll never forget? Volunteer at Flow Festival!

In exchange for becoming a Flow Fest Volunteer, you’ll receive a general admission 3-day pass, amazing behind-the-scenes opportunities and a fun time at the festival!

Please read the volunteer requirements, information and terms & conditions completely before submitting an application. Individual volunteer positions will be assigned based on festival needs.

You will be required to pay the cost of a weekend pass as a deposit ($65 until Nov. 1, $TBD after Nov. 1) with a valid debit or credit card. All deposits must be received within a week of your accepted application and no later than your start date. You can qualify for a refund if you give notice at least 30 days in advance of the festival OR find another volunteer to take your place, providing their own deposit.

The card you use will be refunded the FULL AMOUNT within 14 days after the end of the festival as long as you complete your work requirements and follow the volunteer rules. If you fail to complete the work requirements or follow the volunteer rules, you forfeit your deposit.

Once you have paid your deposit, and have been accepted and scheduled, you will be notified via email.

Volunteers are expected to be early or on time for all shifts.

Volunteers will work a minimum of 18 total hours between January 1-February 4.

Volunteers will be expected to attend two informational meetings prior to Flow Fest unless otherwise specified. Here we will get to know each other and familiarize with our roles, responsibilities and leaders. There will be food and beverages provided and we will create our staff shirts to be worn during our shifts!

Please remember that the trick is to be flexible and be willing to lend a helping hand!

Check-in information will be sent to you prior to the event. You will be notified of your shifts and the check-in location via e-mail. When you arrive, you will be given your general admission wristband. Make sure you check in and out for each shift!

Remember, all Flow Fest volunteers are expected to take responsibility for dressing appropriately and staying hydrated!

If for any reason you need to cancel, be sure to cancel your application in writing via email to flowfesthawaii@gmail.com by January 1. Due to the overwhelming number of applicants, cancellations received after January 1 will forfeit the deposit. All refunds will be processed within thirty days after the festival.

Upon acceptance of your application, you will receive a link and/or code to submit your security deposit.

We couldn't make this event happen without the help of our reliable and proactive volunteers!

    A volunteer deposit is required via Eventbrite Ticketing for the cost of a general admission weekend pass. If your shifts are fulfilled, you will receive a refund for this deposit within 7 days of the closing of the event.
    Email is far and away the preferred medium for Flow Fest. So, we need to know if you can't/don't check your email and opt for other methods of contact.

Mission:
To promote and raise awareness of self-sustainability in Puna. By becoming more self-sufficient we lessen our dependence on imported goods or things that need to be purchased from town.

Guidelines:
You, as a vendor, must follow all rules and times instructed for this event. Please be sure that you understand the information on this sheet before committing to this event.

Set-up/Break-down instructions will be clearly laid out for you after your application is accepted.

Each booth will be responsible for providing their own electricity.

Each booth will be expected to supply their own sustainable packaging for their customers!

Payment:
The deadline for your payment in FULL must be collected by January 15, 2019. We will instruct you on how to complete your payment once your application has been accepted.

The following are costs for vendors who are committing to the entire weekend. If you require an exception to this rule, we reserve the right to add on an extra fee. Fees are subject to change prior to locking in the first vendor.

Craft Vendor:
By November 1: $150
After November 1: $200

Food Vendor:
By November 1: $350 + 5 complimentary meals per day
After November 1: $400 + 5 complimentary meals per day
+ $100 refundable deposit for use of sustainable packaging
(This fee includes one weekend pass for an assistant)

Service Vendor: Fee will be determined based on your service

Vending Assistants:
Vendors may request assistant passes which will likely require an additional fee per assistant. Please use this application to clarify your needs.

General Rules:
Vendors are expected to have a clean area. Vendors are not allowed to sell outside of their vending space. You must bring your own shelter, change, tables, table accessories, chairs, light fixtures (if needed), hoses, and/or power source + extension cords (if needed). Vendors must supply their own sustainable packaging products for their customers. We will not tolerate inappropriate behavior. Vendors are expected to practice sanitation. We expect vendors to be responsible with their sales, monies, products, equipment etc. We are not responsible if any of your items are stolen, please do not leave your table unattended. We do not allow storage. If you choose to leave any items behind, we are not responsible for your items.
